On Friday 2nd March 2012, 3.00pm – 7.00pm in the school hall, Trafford Knitwear Ltd, are going to be bringing 28 NEW STOCK rails of clothing to The Polesworth School. Stock is all NEW stock from Marks and Spencer, Per Una, Miss Selfridges, French Connection, and other high end retailers. Sizes 6 - 22. You can bag a bargain, example prices are listed below:

Send Thomas to America
Non uniform day was held on 9 December and raised £1038 for the 'Send Thomas to America' appeal. Thomas has now been to America and had the life changing operation and our money will go towards his extensive rehabilitation. Mr Hughes said Thomas is almost 7 weeks post op now and receiving physiotherapy at home 5 days a week. We would also like to take him to a specialist centre near Oxford called Footsteps who provide intensive rehabilitation for Spastic Deplegic Cerebral Palsy surgery patients and have achieved some excellent results with other children like Thomas.

9th December
Thanks to parents, students and staff for supporting Children in Need. Total raised so far £2826. Any remaining sponsorship money needs to be taken to Finance office before the end of term.
7th December
GCSE and A Level Textiles pupils visited The Clothes Show in Birmingham. Pupils were treated to a catwalk fashion show including performances by 'The Risk', Kimberley Wyatt, George Lamb and stars from Hollyoaks. Here are some photos from the day.

Pupils raised money for Children in Need on Friday by taking part in various activities such as leg waxing, face painting, flan flinging and all day piano playing (to watch the recording of the piano playing, click here)
